Defeat at Seedhill!

Saturday’s victory joy was short lived as House slipped to a 4th Defeat of the season at Nelson on Sunday. 

House were restricted to 133 all out as a result of tight bowling by Sam Halstead (3-34), Danny Kegg (3-35) and Farukh Bukhari (2-12 ).  The In-form Charlie Cottam again top scored with 33 and Jack McGregor made a patient 19 after opening the batting for the second time in the weekend.  There were contributions from Will Driver (15), Stuart Grant (14) and Joe Hawke (11).

In reply, Nelson Pro Craig McMillan hit an unbeaten 36 with support from Neil Thompson (30) and Danny Kegg (25) to take Nelson past their target with plenty of time to spare.  The Pro (1-20) and Will Driver (1-15) were the pick of the Lowerhouse bowlers.
