Lowerhouse Awards Night 2016 – The Winners
Lowerhouse 2016 presentation night took place on Friday evening in the Club House.
The usual excellent attendance was repeated and the club would like to thank the junior families and the senior players for a top turn out.
Compare for the evening was Stan Heaton who began by thanking all those who had contributed to the 2016 seasonly, namely the Managing Director Matt Stansfield and the Directors and committee members, the coaches, players, families and supporters.
The Club President and Life Patron, Harry Brooks was thanked for his continued philanthropic and financial support for the junior and senior sections under the Harry Brooks Foundation.
Those thanked for making the evening possible were the sponsor of the trophies and friend of the club Mr. Donnie Doran. Kevin Bailey and Mark Whitehead for the certificates and sound system respectively and SDL/Surridge for the quality of the trophies .
The new 1st XI Captain, Ben Heap presented the trophies, assisted by coach Dave Waddington. Eric Haworth presented the certificates and trophies to the under 9s and Dave Nicholas awarded the 3XI manager’s Trophy.
