Lowerhouse Cricket Club are pleased to announce that CLA UK our main club sponsor have yet again supported the club by offering to provide the trophies for our Junior presentation night.
CLA UK have been our main sponsor for the last two years and will continue to sponsor the club for the 2009 season.
This is the third year that CLA have provided the trophies for our presentation night and further affirms their ongoing support for our club. In addition to the annual sponsorship, in 2008 CLA provided us with a quality car for our club professional Brendan Drew.
Brian Sides Managing Director of CLA UK will attend the Junior awards night on November 21st.
David Wren commented “CLA UK have been a great supporter of our club for the past two years and we look forward to continuing our relationship into the future”

Lowerhouse were well represented as the ACA All Stars beat an Australia XI in a 20/20 match in Brisbane.
Ryan Harris In Action
Former pro’s, Andrew McDonald and Ryan Harris featured for ACA All Stars along with last years paid man Brendan Drew. The ACA All Stars managed an impressive 203-4 from their 20 overs with Brad Hodge smashing 65. None of the House trio were required to bat but each played a part with the ball!
The Australia XI were dismissed for 139 inside 18 overs with Macca recording figures of 2-23, Brendan 2-41 and Ryan 0-20.

Lowerhouse Cricket Club are pleased to announce a sponsorship deal with the newly opened Sycamore Farm Pub Restaurant.
The sponsorship deal for the 2009 season will see all Junior Teams renamed to include the sponsor’s name.
David Wren, Managing Director of Lowerhouse CC CIC said that he was very pleased with the sponsorship, “it is great to have sponsorship focused entirely on our junior cricket, we are all very grateful for this support”
Sycamore Farm was opened in September 2008 and is proving very popular with locals and businesses alike.
Mark Worsley, of Sycamore Farm, commented “We are delighted to be able to support our local club and, as a restaurant which welcomes all the family, we are particularly pleased to focus on the junior section at Lowerhouse CC and wish them much success in the forthcoming season”

We are currently updating the website, throughout the winter and ready for the 2009 season. In doing this we are updating the messageboard, adding some new pages and adding some new exciting features!
