Congratulations to Fergus Bailey, Oliver Bayliff, Joe Martin , Matt Walker and Johnny Whitehead who have been representing Lancashire North East in the Lancashire Festival from which the Lancashire u16 squad will be selected .

LHCC 2XI- 209-9 East Lancs 2XI – 54-all out

An 82 opening stand and 79 third wicket stand saw the home side amass a big total. A strong East Lancs team never came to terms with Matt Marquis’ seamers and were 19 for 7 at one stage

LHCC are hopeful that Jack McGregor will have recovered from his thumb injury and return this weekend. Jack represents Lancashire under 19s this week and will see how he comes through the game.

The club have been tremendously pleased with Joe Martin (15) who has stood in for Jack and clearly has a big future.

Joe, Fergus Bailey, Oliver Bayliff, Matt Walker and Johnny Whitehead have been representing Lancashire North East in the County Festival from which the County under 16 squad is chosen.
