Apologies for the hiatus in news from the club but the unusually dry weather has meant that I have had to spend all my time at the club. The next rainy day will see the news coming back through.

Annual raffle

Produced a magnificent return and as reported a sizeable profit. Many thanks to those who contributed and of course to frank for his organisation and leg work. Some raffle prizes remain unclaimed so please check again on the list of winners on the website.

Changing Room Fund Donors

To Georgie Holt (u16) who is now in the Lancashire Thunder senior ladies squad and to Anya Laraway who has joined our other girls in the Lancashire u11 squad.

Also to Owen Deakin – Pickard for his century in the cup at East Lancs 2XI. We have been drawn against church in the 2nd round.

On his debut for the 3XI, u14 Yousaf Nadeem took his maiden 5 wickets to secure the first victory of the season and u16 Ross Birchall, his maiden 3XI 50
