Lowerhouse made it two wins from two this weekend with what could have been called a swift game of cricket.
Starting at 4.30pm in a 20 over a side game due to the deluge the night before and this morning, Rochdale batted first. They collapsed from 15/1 to 15/6 and were bowled out for 50. Francois took 3 for 18 off 7. Toxy took 2 for 9 off 5 and Joe Hawke 2 for 8 off 2. Sub pro Lancashire’s Karl Brown got the other with 2 run outs.
It took House 13 overs to knock them off, after losing Ben with the score at 7 and Francois at 26 and Pro Karl at 30. Charlie and Paddy got the rest and the game finished at 50/3 at 6.45pm.
