100% Senior record continues
Two more wins today for the First and Second team, holding up our unbeaten league run for all senior teams in league cricket this season.
The first of the two games to finish today was the Second Team, winning early and continuing their good early start. House bowled Milnrow out for 111 in just 38 overs at the Brooks, with Finch, Page, Hope and Laraway taking two wickets each and Stansfield taking one.
We only needed just over 20 overs to knock them off, Finch made 31 and Barlow was 61 not out at the end.
The first team won in a game certainly for the bowlers at Darwen. Lowerhouse went from 116-7 to finish 166-7 off their 50 overs, Francois was 53 not out with Blez on 34 not out, putting on a valuable 81 partnership. Darwen came up short making 113 before being bowled out. Joe Hawke took his first 5fer of the year and Ocki got 4.
