It was a hectic weekend for Burnley footballers. On Saturday, 11th September 1971, they won easily at Fulham and on Sunday six of them reached the final of the Lowerhouse six-a-side cricket competition.
Tonight’s junior matches at Lowerhouse are off and the bar closed, due to the inclement weather.
