2015s’ view from the scorebox

As we did last year, we’ve decided to ask a few people a couple of questions on their views from last season and what to expect from the upcoming one. We managed to grab some time with the elusive scorer himself, Stuart Gaynor, in between trips to Manchester to see every band under the sun.

How did the 2014 season go in your opinion?

The 2014 season went as I expected with at least 1 trophy coming to the ‘House. I still believed we would be successful in the league after losing 3 of our first 6 games.

What was your favourite game?

My favourite match of the season was the T20 qualifier against Colne because of what was needed to go through. It might have been a shortened game due to rain but we got treated to some incredible batting from Jonny and Cobus.

What are your predictions for 2015?

My predictions for 2015 are that we should still be strong contenders on all fronts despite the winter departures of Ben Heap and Joe Hawke.

What album are you listening to at the moment?

I have been listening to a whole raft of albums recently due to two bulk purchases so I would say my favourites so far from those are: The Bones Of What You Believe by Chvrches, Supermodel by Foster The People, Peroxide by Nina Nesbitt, Glorious by Foxes and Royal Blood by Royal Blood.

I said ALBUM! (Never mind Stu!)

What are you doing to prepare for the new season?

Ahead of the new season, I have been watching the World Cup and learning from the failures of England as well the successes of others.

What is your personal key to success in 2015?

My personal key to success in 2015 would be just believing in yourself and being able to express your skills to the maximum.
