2016 preview: 5 minutes with the Skipper!

Starting off our segment of interviews with players and supporters alike, we thought we’d ask the skipper Charlie Cottam a few questions:

Who is your favourite all time Lowerhouse Amateur and why?

Blez – amazingly talented, great mate, true Lowerhouser, learnt so much from him.

Who is your favourite all time Lowerhouse Pro and why?

Too many to single one out; Flegs, Cobus, Franky, Ryan and Brendon Drew (he hit the ball so hard!!!)

What was your favourite game of the 2015 Season?

Obviously beating Burnley at home.

What are your predictions for 2016?

We have a great squad this season, probably the best mix of amateur youth and experience the whole league. If we start well then it should be another big year for Lowerhouse. Up the House!

What do you miss most about cricket in the winter?

Sitting in the changing rooms with the iPod on drinking a beer after a big win.
