2025 Pendleside Hospice Strictly Come Dancing Competition

Friday 14th November 2025

There is just 1 week to go before the 2025 Pendleside Hospice Strictly Come Dancing competition reaches its climax.

A huge congratulations to all involved — especially our very own Shelly Heap and partner Aeron, who are proudly performing as Team Lowerhouse.

We are immensely proud that Shelly and her team have raised over £16,000 (including Gift Aid) — a phenomenal effort.

Whilst the event at Impact Conferencing, Burnley sold out in minutes, we hope many of you can join us at the Lowerhouse Club as we stream the event and dances live on Friday night across our three TVs.

Doors open: 6.00pm
Dancing begins: 7.00pm
Everyone is invited to come along and join the fun — children welcome. It will be a huge celebration of what the competitors have achieved.

We will take one final opportunity to raise some funds for Pendleside Hospice with a raffle on the night, so please bring some cash although card payments will also be accepted.

Good luck to everyone involved — keep dancing!

Event information & format

The event will start promptly once seats have been taken, with Burnley College dance students opening the show.

  • There will be a brief introduction of the judges and compères, which will lead into the first dances.
  • Once all the celebrities have performed their first dance, your two-course meal will be served.
  • Gavin Young (Wedding Entertainer) will provide entertainment before the second part of the show.
  • Couples will then perform their second dance; the total scores from both dances will be announced on the leaderboard.
  • The two celebrities in the final will then dance off against each other to decide who lifts the Glitterball trophy.

Text to Donate

Each celebrity will have their own Text to Donate number. These will be active on the night so the audience (and viewers at home) can vote for their favourite. Votes from the room and from home can make all the difference!

Live stream

If you weren’t lucky enough to get a ticket or can’t make it down to the Club, the event will be streamed live.

Last year over 1,200 people were watching at one time, with many hosting watch parties at home with family and friends. The live link will go live on the night at approximately 6.45pm:
