The Fourth Eleven took on Ramsbottom on Saturday and beat Ramsbottom 3rds in exciting fashion. After winning the toss and batting, Ramsbottom made 176/7 off their 40 overs. Anya Laraway starred with 5 for 38 off 6 overs. Houses reply started steady but lost wickets at regular intervals – at 84/6 Keagan De Vries and Shabaz Mukhtar came together and knocked off the remaining runs. Keagan finished on 58 off 48 balls and Shabaz, a run a ball 35 with 5 overs and a ball remaining.

The Second Eleven were defeated at Colne on Sunday, after losing the toss and being stuck in. House were all out for 143, 5 balls short of their full allocation. Joel Sharpe top scored with 31, with 6 other batters making double figures but not being able to kick on. In reply, Colne knocked them off 4 down off 28.3 overs.

The First team made it four in four in the league against Greenmount at home. Greenmount won the toss and elected to bat. Joey Hawke on his 250th appearance ripped through the top order, (with two wickets in the first over) and finished on 5 for 44 off his 12. Paddy and Stephen followed up with 2 wickets a piece. Ben passed 7,000 runs fin Lancashire League matches and Frankie passed 3500 in reply. House knocked them off 4 down with 20 overs left. Stephen Parry and Dean Barlow finished the chase off with 25 and 45 respectively.
