Retiring second team stalwart Matt Marquis was presented with a special award to mark his retirement at the joint 150th Celebration and Awards Eveing.

Tony Woodworth was MC and Lowerhouse’s MD David Wren presented the awards.

Jonny Whitehead was most successful being named Club Player of the Year and Club Supporters Junior Player of the Year. He also won the 1st XI Batting Prize for an outstanding season during which he scored 628 runs. Ben Heap was also rewarded for scoring 602 league runs at 28.7. The Worsley Cup Man of the match also hit 178 runs at 59.3 in the cup.

Joe Hawke won the 1st XI Bowling Prize for taking 47 wickets with Chris Bleazard winning the Club Supporters Player of the Year prize.

In the seconds Phil Haggerty won the Batting Prize with 414 runs with Declan Bailey also recognised for averaging 50.8 in scoring 254 runs. Keiran Tighe won the Bowling Prize for taking 30 wickets. Achievement certificates were awarded to Declan Bailey, Ben Gorton and Jack Edgar.
