SENIOR RESULTS

LHCC 2XI ABANDONED WITHOUT A BALL BOWLED

LHCC 3XI 137 – all out – NELSON 3XI – 116 all out

Joe Martin 50                 Ismail Khalil 5-29

Ismail Khalil 25              Shaun Heaton 2-17

Max Humberstone 22            Jack Edgar 2-17

On a sticky batting wicket the 79 run partnership from Joe Martin batting at 8, and Ismail Khalil proved vital. The game was won at 69-9 but last batsman Tom Lord struck a quick fire 40 before his partner was out. A good day for Ismail Khalil whose figures would have been even more impressive but for first team skipper Lord hitting his late runs. First team adults are able to play in the 3rd team if they bat at number 11.

 Haslingden u17 – 129- 5                               LHCC 130-3

Ismael Khalil 2-20                                          Jonny Whitehead 51*

                                                                        Jack Edgar 45*

A fine victory which oozed batting class. Credit to the bowlers too who bowled well on a great batting track.

LHCC U15C Sharks 119-4 –                    Rawtenstall u15 115-6

Joe Gray  46*                                            Jamie Woodall 2-18

Ben Gorton 19

Will Norcross 16

A nervy finish to the game . Fortunately Rawtenstall had no later batting after a retirement at 50

LHCC U15 Dolphins 93- 2                      Haslingden  U15 95-0

 Ben Gorton 46

Liam Heaton 29

An 87 opening stand , tidy bowling and a plucky attitude deserved more than a fairly easy victory for Haslingden for whom a couple of first and second team players shone. No disgrace however for our under 14 team against a full 15s team

LHCC U13 Lions 291 -0                     LHCC U13 Cougars 197 -7

Tom Nicholas 14*                               Ryan Starkie 10

Jake Seddon 13*                                    Oscar Coates 10

Alex Claridge Ingham 12*

Harry Spark 12*

On a night where 3 under 13s teams were in action the u12 Cougars could see where they need to be in 2012 when they came up against the top u13’s . No wickets conceded by the Lions despite a tidy Cougar bowling performance.

Nelson u13 (1)267 -4                             LHCC 13 Tigers 142-9

Sadly another poor display from the Tigers who are finding this season very difficult.

East Lancs u11 (1) 256-5         LHCC U11 Bears 233 – 5

Taha Dabir 2-5                            Sulaiman Mehdi 16

With 3 regulars missing this was a good performance with those who stepped in looking up to the mark.

Todmorden u11 207 – all out                   LHCC U11 Bears 271-2

Sulaiman Mehdi 3- 2 ( hat trick)               Ross Birchall 18

Joe Halstead 2- 9                                        Joe Halstead 15

Ross Birchall 2-12                                     Harry Wheatcroft 14

                                                                   James Haycock 10

A powerful cup performance sees the team through to the CUP semi final v Ramsbottom.

Burnley u11 313-4                                         LHCC U11 Cubs 235 – 8

Drew Sandiford 2-7                                         Georgia Clough 21

Burnley were simply too strong and adapted to the rough track outfield pitch far better.

Nelson u9 248 – 7                                          LHCC U9 221- 6

 James Bridge 2-7

Aman Singh 2-4

Jack Simm 2-20

An out of sorts day for the batsman.
