Longridge rallied somewhat from 38 – 8 but the damage inflicted by the spin twins allowed the lads to record a difficult win. Joe Martin’s patience was crucial on a difficult wicket.

On the same night as the Sharks played, a team made up of under 14s and 13s were too strong for East Lancs thanks to Ben Gorton’s blistering start . Despite only losing 1 wicket, East Lancs rarely threatened to overhaul the score after the 2 Harry’s Spark and Green tied the openers down from the start

James Wheatcroft 17* Drew Holden 11*

Unfortunately for the Cougars, their older counterparts were unstoppable and put in a great performance.

Jake Turner 3-3

A steady performance by the B team against an A team

LHCC U11 Koalas 214 -4 Clitheroe U11 (b) 227-2

A first game of the season for the team who will take some heart from the way in which they played. Ben Woodall top scored with 9* and took a great one handed catch stood up.

East Lancs u9 228-3 LHCC u9 227 – 4

Despite the best efforts of last pair Ton Halstead and Georgie Holt the tots fell 1 run short.
