Longridge rallied somewhat from 38 – 8 but the damage inflicted by the spin twins allowed the lads to record a difficult win. Joe Martin’s patience was crucial on a difficult wicket.

On the same night as the Sharks played, a team made up of under 14s and 13s were too strong for East Lancs thanks to Ben Gorton’s blistering start . Despite only losing 1 wicket, East Lancs rarely threatened to overhaul the score after the 2 Harry’s Spark and Green tied the openers down from the start
