Lowerhouse welcomed Joe Hawke back to the club in this demolition of an inexperienced Church side. Joe picking up 6 wickets on the very ground that he took his maiden 5 wicket haul for the 2s as a 16 year old five years ago.

SYCAMORE FARM SPONSORED JUNIOR RESULTS

 Colne u15 164 – 6                                     LHCC u15 Dolphins 83 – 5

Ronan Moorhouse 3-31                              Ben Gorton 23

Will Norcross 17*

Liam heaton 10

The Colne openers hit 7 sixes in their opening stand and it was only in the 11th over that the run rate dropped below 10 an over. Dropped catches and wides didn’t help. What a tough season this has been for the B team.

Nelson u13 280 – 4                                                      LHCC 13 Cougars 249 – 6

TomBridge2-11                                                      James Wheatcroft 18*

Harrison Smith 11

A decent match overshadowed by the controversy of a rule breach by Nelson who batted a player but didn’t bowl him. Under the rule all players have to bowl 1 over. The game may have to be replayed.

 Todmorden u11 282-3                                                       LHCC U11 Cubs 187 – 7

A bad day at the office for the juniors who came up against a good A team. The age difference at this level is quite severe. Todmorden’s team were heavily beaten by our under11 A team in the cup yet were far too strong for our under 10s.
