Cricket actually does return! An update…

We updated you earlier this week in regards the cancellation of our friendlies pre-arranged for this weekend.

Just to reiterate, this was based on advice provided to our Executive from the LCF as a recommendation from the Government/ECB

Its important to remember that these are extremely difficult decisions to make and each day we ‘cricket club volunteer administrators’ are having the unenviable task for making them in this we fully support the Lancashire League Executive

We respect why the request was being made and understand the concerns currently arising within the County hence reluctantly this weekend’s games remain cancelled our apologies to all.

That said and having revisited risk assessments our intention at this moment is that next weekends friendlies will go ahead pending further review early next week

Frank Entwistle – Secretary
