David Wren shortlisted for award!

Former Chairman David Wren recently made President of the Club at the recent AGM has been shortlisted for the Burnley Community Awards:

The judging panel for this year’s Burnley Community Sports Awards have met, and the shortlisted nominees can now be announced.

All have been invited to the prestigious ceremony on Thursday 4th July at the Mechanics Theatre.

The event will be hosted by former Olympian Derek Redmond.

The shortlisted nominees are:

Lifetime Achievement Award [sponsored by Burnley Council] – John Roche, David Wren, Linda Moores

Michelle Grimes, Events and Funding Officer for Burnley Council said:

“A huge number of nominations were received and the SPAA judging panel had to make some difficult decisions.
