Fours Go Five Unbeaten – Thirds Too Strong for Walsden

Fourth Eleven

It’s five wins from five for the Fourth Eleven, who now move up to 3rd in the league table. On a glorious day away at Darwen, the hosts won the toss and elected to bat first. They were dismissed for 126 in 33 overs thanks to a superb all-round bowling effort, with wickets shared across the attack.

In reply, House chased the target with composure, reaching 127 for 4 in 28.2 overs. Josh Brennand finished unbeaten on 46, supported by Dave Krupinski (32*) and a useful 31 from Sonny Whittaker.

Third Eleven

It was also 12 points for Robson Elliott’s Third Eleven. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, they posted 179 for 5 from their 40 overs. Braiden Watson led the way with a well-made 50, with Jax Edwards (31*) and Danny Simm (27*) providing strong support.

In reply, Walsden were bowled out for 150, falling 30 runs short. Another strong bowling performance saw the wickets shared once again.
