Government Road Map out of Lockdown – What it means for us….

Many of you have been finding the latest lockdown more challenging but hopefully the lighter evenings and brighter weather will give you encouragement that there is light at the end of the tunnel but we just all need to continue to play our part for a short time further and continue to adhere to restrictions and guidance to ensure for that little bit longer.

The road map released last week is a welcome and positive step, further guidance on the return of recreational cricket is expected shortly but at the moment we work with and from the guidance supplied to us by the Government  and in recreational terms The Lancashire Cricket Foundation and The Lancashire League.

The League is due to commence on time which would mean 1st & 2nd Elevens Sunday 18th April, with be 3rd & 4th Elevens the week prior Sunday 11th April

Friendlies precede the season as follows:

  • 1st Eleven – Home v Blackpool 10/4/2021,
  • 1st  Eleven – Away v Northern Club 11/4/2021,
  • 1st Eleven – Home v Greenmount 17/4/2021
