House beat Accrington and progress in the Twenty20

Lowerhouse beat Accrington last night taking them to second in the league progressing through to the quarter finals with a guaranteed home draw.

The match between the second and third placed teams went the way ofLowerhouse who beat Accrington by 34 runs at the Brooks Foundation Ground.Solid knocks by professional Dieter Klein (38), Joe Halstead (34), Ben Heap (18), Adam Hugill (13 not out) and skipper Charlie Cottam (13) took Lowerhouse to 155-7 when their innings was ended by rain with just 3 balls to go. Accrington made a slow start in reply and eventually finished up on 121-5. Professional Ockert Erasmus made 44, Keiren Grimshaw 30 and Stuart Crabtree 18. Man of the match Paddy Martin took 4-30 for Lowerhouse who move up to second. Accrington drop down to fourth.
