IMPORTANT: Today’s cricket at Lowerhouse

As some or many of you may now be aware, we were advised late last night that following a series of positive Covid tests at Ramsbottom CC both First Eleven and Second Eleven games scheduled for today have now been postponed

The thoughts of everyone at Lowerhouse are with  the individuals and families involved our primary concern is that of your fellow cricket family and friend and their welfare.

Today’s match is due to see one of our main sponsors MKM bring 250 match guests. At such a late stage it was too late to cancel and we are grateful to Paul at MKM for his time and understanding this morning.

Our players will participate in a mixed team Twenty20 event commencing at 1.30pm and we have secured a band to play in the club around 4.00pm . We also have the British & Irish Lions v South Africa in the 1st test from Cape Town at 5.00pm on the TVs plenty to eat and drink

The defribrillator raffle will also still go ahead to be drawn later this afternoon.

The bars and Tea room are open from Noon
