Joey in Australia..

Joey Hawke has been in Australia for a week now and has settled into his team The Basin Cricket Club in Victoria.

Joeys team mate Blake has been in touch with the following update:

Joey made a match winning 42 when we were 6/80 chasing 189. Batting against a decent attack with the ball swinging everywhere, he stuck it out really well. Was in some vital partnerships to help us pass them 8 down. Photo for your records. Also took 3fa the week before with the ball.

The team also wore black armbands in respect of the news of Harry Brooks passing, which I’m sure you’ll agree is a lovely touch.
