After a rained off start to the season last week, the 2s have begun the season in style with 2 wins, one of which was against the much fancied Ramsbottom.

Season news

Work has started on the painting of the rear of the clubhouse. Having been an eyesore for a long number of years, the exterior has been refurbished by Dan Birchall with guttering, drainage and rendering.

Cricket matters

The junior season has commenced. We have lost 15 juniors over the winter, many of whom wish to concentrate on other sports, studies or work. We are still in a healthy position with several newcomers and replacements coming in at the lower age groups from the under 9s.
