Ken Hankinson – R.I.P Ken Chip
It is with great sadness that we must report the passing of popular fan Ken Hankinson, better known locally as Ken Chip.
Sadly after a fall on holiday in Egypt Ken, the owner of Bird’s Chippy in Rosegrove, died just before 8.00am yesterday.
Ken was a long time Lowerhouse fan, larger than life and louder than most at games but a fun loving guy who loved Lowerhouse. He was a sponsor of the club and organiser of a number of events on behalf of the Rosegrove Supporters.
The thoughts and condolences of everyone at Lowerhouse Cricket Club are with his wife Jules, his son David and all his family and close friends at this time.
