Lancashire County Cricket Club are looking for seasonal ground staff over the World Cup period.

Monday 10th June – Friday 28th June
Wednesday 3rd July – Thursday 11th July

Emirates Old Trafford, home to Lancashire Cricket, is an all-encompassing, world class venue for sport, business
and leisure. Boasting international cricket matches; renowned concerts, such as Ariana Grande’s ‘One Love
Manchester’; award-winning, intelligent conference and events spaces for up to 2,000 delegates; a four-star
Hilton Garden Inn; and an on-site Caffè Nero, Emirates Old Trafford offers a unique and unparalleled working

The Club is set to host an exciting array of international fixtures in what will be a historic 2019, including the 4th
Specsavers Ashes Test in September, and a record six ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 matches – which returns to
England for the first time in 20 years – bringing in excess of 200,000 visitors to the stadium for international

This is a perfect opportunity for an individual to gain some great work experience within an International Sporting

Key Responsibilities
General ground staff duties
Preparation of cricket playing and practice areas
Cutting grass
Rolling grass
General laboring
Assisting with placing and removing groundsheets and covers
Essential Requirements
The dates of work will be as above (inclusive). To be considered for the job role it is compulsory you can
work ALL these dates. Please note some shifts will finish between 9.30-10pm.
Total commitment to delivering a high level of workmanship
Show initiative and self-motivation
Able to meet all tasks efficiently and to a high standard
Flexible with working times, able to work both day, night and weekends
