Lowerhouse Golf Day
The club have decided to organise an Official Lowerhouse Cricket Club Golf Day for 2019 to raise essential funds for the club which as you are aware has a thriving youth section with many youth teams ranging from under 7’s to under 18’s and 4 senior teams.
The inaugural tournament will take place at Towneley Golf Club, proceedings commencing at approximately 12:30 on Friday 2nd August, followed by a presentation, entertainment with top comedian Garry Marshall and two course meal back at Lowerhouse Cricket Club.
We are looking for a business to be a main sponsor for the day, who’s company logo will appear on all advertising for the event including social media, the tournament programme and on our club website.
A golf day offers several opportunities to raise much needed funds for the club.

We are also looking for eighteen individual hole sponsors, who again will have their company logo displayed in the tournament programme as well as on the cricket club’s social media site and club website.
Alternatively, you may wish to enter a team in the event and join in all the fun of this great occasion.
We are looking for 18 teams of four persons which will enable a “Shotgun Start”. Full competition rules will be posted once enough teams are enrolled.
Below is a list of the costs including the different sponsorship options for the day, and entry into the competition:
- Main Event Sponsorship – £500.00.
- Hole sponsorship – £30.00 per hole.
- Team entry – £160.00 per 4-person team (this includes buffet with tea or coffee on arrival at the course, 18 holes of golf, two-course sit down meal, presentation and entertainment).
