LancashireLeague.coms match report said:

League leaders Ramsbottom maintained their unbeaten run after beating third placed Lowerhouse by 6 wickets at Acre Bottom. A 3rd wicket stand of 93 between skipper Charlie Cottam, who hit 56, including six fours, and Ben Heap who made 55 with four fours helped Lowerhouse make 166-9, crucially denying Ramsbottom the bowling points. Professional Dieter Klein also made 26, Dominic Stuart an unbeaten 11 and Chris Bleazard 10. Ramsbottom professional Daryn Smit took 4-44 and Jon Fielding 3-36. The visitors were 104-2 at the halfway point but the spinners slowed the rate. Stuart removed Martin Cropper (2) at 3 and Klein (2-37) sent back Michael Howarth at 22, but Tom Parton and Smit both made half centuries to see Ramsbottom to victory. Klein removed Parton for 50, including seven fours, at 108 and Paddy Martin trapped Callum Kay (16) at 143, but Dale Gabriel (10 not out) supported Smit, who hit ten fours in making a match winning unbeaten 65, passing 500 runs for the season, to keep Ramsbottom on top of the table with eight matches still to play.
