Dec Bailey 44 Scott Hope 3-28
Corey Hope 33* Mickey Lee 3-45
Mickey Lee 21
Scott Hope 19

Second team manager Gav Shields was in buoyant mood after this extremely well fought victory. With several major players away or in the first team the side had a fragile look about it. however the remaining regulars dug deep and put up a defendable total well assisted by young Corey hope’s great knock .the last 4 wickets putting 80 on . After a quick fire start for Enfield the Lowerhouse bowling dug equally deep and clawed the game back. Indeed only in the last 10 overs were Lowerhouse favourites at any stage.

Back to winning ways for the young 3s as the team posted a decent score on the back of Starkie and Ridehalgh’s 47 opening stand. Bacup relied heavily on the veteran skipper Peter Killelea but once he was out to a fine catch from Ridehalgh the innings fell away

Todmorden u17 89-7 LHCC u17- 70- 8

Micky Rogan 3-3 Harry Spark 12
Danny Simm 2-3
Hamzah Zaman 2-5
Tom Bridge 2-11

After Tom Bridge had removed the two recognised Bacup batsmen the innings struggled as the younger ones batted gamely against older bowlers.

Longridge u15 (2) 96-7 LHCC U15 Barracudas 71-8

Danny Simm 3-16 Hamzah Zaman 16
James Wheatcroft 2- 15 Michael Rogan 12

Despite the bowlers best efforts the fielders contrived to present Longridge with dropped catches, misfields and poor throws. With some notable exceptions from the above and the under 13s in the team, the batsmen presented Longridge with 3 unnecessary run outs and a couple of simply woeful shots. After a stiff talking to it will be noses to the grindstone at training.

Heaton u11 288-5 LHCC u11 Bears 236-4

Tom Halstead 2-36 Ben Woodall 15*
Rowan greenwood 10*

Having won the Lancashire League Cup the team played away at Heaton from the Bolton Association. The boys never came to terms with playing on a soft green track and bowling short of a length cost them clear

Ben Woodall 12*
Jack Simm 12

Ramsbottom gained revenge for their cup final defeat with a flawless batting display
