New League rules agreed

Amongst the rule changes approved at the Lancashire League AGM were changes to bonus points in reduced overs games.

The allocation of Bonus points to the team bowling second in rain affected games have been altered.

For matches reduced to 36-45 overs the allocation starts at 4 wickets, 26-35 overs at 3 wickets and 25 or less overs at 2 wickets.

The radius for fielding circles will increase to 30 yards in all competitions.

The last four matches of the season will begin at 12.30.

Admission fees for the Worsley Cup Final have been increased to £5 with concessions still £2.

Also in the Worsley Cup no bowler may bowl more than one-fifth of the total overs allowed in a rain reduced game.

The 2020 competition has also adopted DLS and in the knock out stages only a one over per side eliminator if scores are still level.
