Despite the runs difference a good performance from the youngsters who had little luck when bowling.

East Lancs U9s – 270 – 4                                                

LHCC U9s – 231-4

Batting: – Ross Birchall 13*                                                                                                               

This match will have almost certainly decided the championship for East Lancs who were also unbeaten – providing that they can play all their games. On the day East Lancs were just too strong although the LHCC fielding and bowling was first class.

 The youngsters won their final match of the season and now have to wait to see if East Lancs can play all their games to see who are champions and who are runners up.
