✍️ New Year, New Faces

A happy new year to all our members, supporters and friends of the club. Some seasonal good news…

The club is excited to welcome 19-year-old Charlie Gansler, a right-handed batsman and right-arm quick, who joins from Bacup. Charlie’s impressive track record in his short senior career in the Lancashire League. The House family extends a hearty welcome to Charlie, wishing him great success in his playing career with the club.

A familiar face making a comeback is Tom Walker, who returns from Australia after a stint abroad with 50 wickets for the club under his belt Tom’s return adds considerable strength to the team.

We are also thrilled to announce the return of Jonny Whitehead, a seasoned player with a remarkable record of 3847 league runs, securing his place in the Hall of Fame for batting. We warmly welcome Jonny back to the team!

These are exciting signings. They fill gaps, buy time for other youngsters to develop and give us an injection of youth and ability. It’s always nice when players return to the club having gained experience elsewhere and in Charlie we have a ready made player still with enormous potential.
