Olympic Call Up

We’ve all heard them.

The Wife’s booked a holiday, it’s my best mate’s stag do, I booked it ages ago, it’s a family event etc. – excuses or reason’s for unavailability seem to come thick and fast but here’s a new one:

“Charlie/Stan I’ll miss a few games in August off to Rio for the Olympics!!”

Former University of Chester student and 1st x1 player Lewis Marsden is travelling to Rio as part of the team supporting GB Cycling.

Lewis who graduated with an MSc in performance Analysis or Biomechanics now works with British Cycling and  is one of the experts as part of the British Olympic Committee’s Capture & Analysis Team off to RIO.

They will monitor video and TV footage of British Athletes in action, a vital service that could ultimately impact on the GB’s standing in the medal’s table and will be travelling to the games which run from 5th to 21st August 2016

Everyone at Lowerhouse wishes Lewis & Team GB every success!
