Relaxation of COVID Regulations from Monday 19th July 2021

Please remember that this weekend

  1. Face Masts or coverings are still required inside
  2. Service Inside and Outside is via the APP –  table service only

Health Secretary Sajid Javid has now confirmed that the governments “four test” have now been met with a caveat that a review will take place in September to assess how prepared the country is for autumn and winter.

The changes coming into effect at Lowerhouse Cricket Club from Monday 19th are as follows:

  • No Limits on how many people can meet
  • 1m – plus rule has been removed
  • Face Coverings inside are no longer required by law
  • There is no longer a requirement for table service (*)
  • No limits on guests at funerals, weddings and attendance at other events etc

(*) One of the real improvements or benefits to come out of restrictions for customers we feel has been table service

In the circumstances after the 19th our intention would be to continue this service for First Eleven games only.

That said our First game back after restrictions is sponsored by MKM Building Supplies they have 250 guests alone, as such,  the numbers expected to attend the Lowerhouse First Eleven v Ramsbottom on Saturday 24th  will mean that no table service will be provided on that day.

Additional external Bar resources have been arranged with our brewery JW Lees  for this weekend with House at Home to Ramsbottom Saturday and Middleton on Sunday 25th
