Sad News – Jim Minhas

Unfortunately, we have been sent news this evening of the passing of Sadfar Hamid ‘Jim’ Minhas who passed away two days ago at the age of 91. His funeral is tomorrow in Karachi.

Jim was played in the league between 1955 and 1966. Scoring 3142 league runs and 343 league wickets.

His son in law has emailed ourselves to let us know as ‘playing for Lowerhouse ‘was such an enriching and enjoyable time for him’

On behalf of the club, we are very sorry to hear the news and will follow up, with more information about Jim and his career in the Lancashire League with us and Todmorden.
