Sunday Is Presentation Time!

This coming Sunday following the home game against Accrington, Lowerhouse skipper Charlie Cottam will be presented with the Lancashire League Trophy for only the second time in the clubs 149 year history!

It could be a double presentation and celebration if our opponents Accrington are able to seal second place and the Holland Cup.

Francois has returned to South Africa and therefore Morecambe’s Anwar Ali will stand in as pro.  Anwar is well known to Lancashire League followers after his blistering performances with bat but particularly with the ball that saw Colne to a surprise Worsley Cup triumph last season.

The presentation is scheduled for after the game.  There will be a commemorative special edition of match day magazine “House” and also a disco and karaoke in the bar afterwards.  There will no doubt be lots of beer and champagne flowing.
