Thirds bowling blows away Burnley – Fourths come second.
TheThird Eleven took on Burnley in the first game of the Presidents trophy yesterday. After Robson won the toss and decided to field Halstead and Nadeem ripped apart the Burnley batting line up and bowled them out for 41. Tom took 5 for 15 from 7 overs.
House knocked them off 3 down off 16.5 overs.
The Fourth team last at home when they finally got underway after the mornings downpour. House were bowled out for 87 with Joel Sharpe making 24 and Phil Metcalfe 23.
In a good fight back Great Harwood knocked them off 6 down after 20 overs.
