Club Events – December 2025

Saturday 6th December 2025

Super Saturday in the CEF Lounge — 1:00pm to 5:30pm.

We will keep a keen eye on developments at St James’ Park with the Clarets away to Newcastle at 3:00pm.

There is a private function in the club in the evening, so please vacate appropriately.

Sunday 7th December 2025

Sunday Social from 1:00pm in the CEF Lounge with SKY features:

  • Brighton v West Ham — 2:00pm
  • Fulham v Crystal Palace — 4:30pm

Friday 12th December 2025

Quiz Night — Quizzie Rascal

It’s the third scheduled quiz of the Autumn/Winter season as Quizzie Rascal returns.

  • Doors open: 7:00pm
  • Quiz starts: 8:00pm
  • Max teams: 6
  • Entry: £4 per person (includes supper)
  • Prizes for 1st & 2nd place and entry into the £100 question
  • All teams must be registered prior to the event — no walk-ins

Sunday Social in the CEF Lounge from 1:00pm featuring:

  • Sunderland v Newcastle — 2:00pm
  • Brentford v Leeds — 4:30pm

Lowerhouse CC Children’s Christmas Party — 12:00 noon to 2:00pm (bar open from noon)

  • Entertainment provided by PC Roadshows
  • Open to members’ children and family members only
  • Entry: £5.00 per child (includes a gift from Father Christmas and a hot dog)

The Christmas Party is followed by a social, keeping a close eye on events at the Vitality Stadium as Bournemouth entertain the Clarets at 3:00pm. Sky Sports also offers Tottenham v Liverpool at 5:30pm.

Our planned opening hours over the festive period:

  • Wednesday 24th December — Christmas Eve: 1:00pm to 7:00pm
  • Thursday 25th December — Christmas Day: 12:00pm to 3:30pm
  • Friday 26th December — Boxing Day: 1:00pm to 6:00pm (Live Championship Football at 3:00pm)
  • Sunday 28th December — Players & Members Christmas Drink & Games: Open from 1:00pm
