The 4th team season of friendlies began with a defeat but the performance was a good one with just 2 blips. Firstly there were far too many extras and secondly a dropped catch allowed the Rishton 9th wicket partnership to win the game with a 60 stand. Other than that it was a good start to senior cricket for the youngsters (13 – 16)

LHCC 4 XI 216-8                           Radcliffe 3XI 96 all out

Dec Stansfield 43                      Alex Claridge – Ingham 4-23

James Wheatcroft 23                    Dec Stansfield 2-14

Jack Moodie 22                         James Wheatcroft 2-14

Danny Simm 21                          Jack Moodie 2-25

Ethan Laraway 21

Ben Uttley 11

The now annual fixture at Radcliffe went well for the team who amassed a big score then bowled well with everyone contributing. An unusual feature of the match was an all run 6 to the furthest part of this huge ground (no overthrows) by Dec Stansfield and Robson Elliott.
