The First Eleven continued their 100% record in the Twenty20 at home on Friday night against East Lancs. House batted first and cruised to 156 for 4 off their 20 with Francois being the only batter in the league to carry his bat in Twenty20 competition. He finished 77*. Pro, Stephen Parry also got 66. In reply East Lancs finished on 131 for 9 with Ben Heap getting a hatrick.
Saturdays game for the Firsts against Darwen went down to the wire, but resulted in a loss for the Firsts. Darwen batted first making 164 for 3 off their rain reduced 43 overs. In reply, House were in the game the whole innings, with Ben making 48 and Dean 38. House needed 11 off the last order but came up short by 4 runs finishing 9 down.
The Second team continued in their form with a win at Bacup. Bacup won the toss and batted and made 154/7 off their 40. With rain hitting, Lowerhouses target was increased due to the Duckworth Lewis method and needed 167. House cruised home with 5 overs to spare. Jack Simm top scored with 47 and Joe Edgar was 38 not out.
