On Saturday the Third Team didn’t manage to get a result against Rishton Fourth Eleven. House won the toss and batted first, and were 75/2 off 15.3 overs when the rain came. Match abandoned.
The Fourth Eleven took the plaudits in another rain affected game on Saturday at Rochdale. House bowled Rochdale out for 120 in 38.1 overs. Chris Broome picked up 4 for 16 off 7.1 overs. In reply, Lowerhouse knocked off their revised target of 107 off in 27.5 overs. Jahangeer Ali Ullah Ullah top scored with 40 and Shaukat Ali 27*.
The Second Team were back to winning ways at Crompton on Sunday. Matt won the toss and batted, posting 180/7 off 32 overs. A good recovery after being 62/4. Elliott Johnstone top scored with 41* and Will Norcross 38. In reply Crompton were 159/9 off their 33 with Matt taking 3 wickets.
The First Team won their 3rd game in a row, beating Middleton at home. Lowerhouse won the toss and posted 233/8 off their rain reduced 46 overs. Frankie top scored with bang on 100 – his 5th Lancashire League century for the club. House bowled out Middleton for 149 off 37.5 overs, pro Stephen took 4 wickets.
