What a cricket filled weekend ahead..
There is a fabulous weekend of cricket ahead:
Friday’s Twenty20 – Update:
Lowerhouse entertain Nelson at the Brooks Foundation in the first of a series of three Twenty20 home games in June. Gates Open at 5.15pm with entry £3 adults and£1 concessions – Entry via Lowerhouse Lane with the additional entry on Liverpool Road also available. Once the ground parking is full additional parking is available at Business First on Liverpool Road.
A full stocked bar will be supported by the usual Can Bars with a BBQ supporting our normal tea room service our DJ will keep you entertained with music throughout the game.
Keep a keen eye out on our social network streams for competitions in the run up to the event to win various prizes, and of course we have our ‘Any Catch in the Crowd’ prize of any 6 JW Lees pint products on offer.
Once the Twenty20 cricket business is over we have our first band of the Twenty20 season at 9.00pm – THE SWITCH – these lads return after a successful gig at the club on Good Friday – remember the band entry is included in your cricket entry!
On Saturday House First Eleven travel to 2017 Champions, Clitheroe for a mouth-watering Lancashire League Clash. The Brooks host the Second Eleven reverse fixture Lowerhouse versus Clitheroe at 1.00pm with Full bar & Tea Room service from 12.30pm
Sunday is Lancashire Cricket Board Knock Out Cup Day, as we welcome Rochdale to the Brooks for a 1.00pm start (45 overs). Many of you will recall a great game the last time we met in last year’s competition. Victor’s are away to Penrith or Horwich.
The Third Eleven take on Rawtenstall away also, looking to keep up their rich vein of form.
As Fixture host Lowerhouse are able to decide entry – As a thanks for your support already this season and especially at last year’s final at Old Trafford Sunday’s game will be ‘FREE ENTRY’ – fingers crossed for great weather and another great game – bring your friends and family along!

- At 6 we are joined by the amazing ELEKTRIO the band specialises in 80s music!
- There is also a first team game on for the fellas who can all join in when the band comes on
