Saturday 1st November 2025 — Bonfire & Fireworks

It’s the club’s biggest fundraiser of the year with the annual bonfire & fireworks display.

There is lots to do and organise, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. If you can help with any of the following please contact Stan or Frank:

• Before the event — helping Stan and his team unload and accept wood.
• In the days up to the bonfire — assisting with physically building the bonfire.
• On the day of the event — gate teams, stewards, volunteers to help with the bar, etc.
• Sunday 2nd November — help with the clear-up after the event.

Sunday 2nd November 2025 — Bonfire Clear-Up & Social

Volunteers young and old are required to assist the massive clean-up operation after the Bonfire & Fireworks from Saturday night.

Please contact Stan to confirm your attendance in the morning.

The bar will open at 1:00pm for a social with live football in the CEF Lounge:

• West Ham v Newcastle — 2:00pm
• Man City v Bournemouth — live in the CEF Lounge

Saturday 8th November 2025 — Saturday Social

The club opens from 1:00pm for a social in the CEF Lounge.

With one eye on the London Stadium action at 3:00pm as West Ham entertain the Clarets.

Sunderland v Arsenal is live on SKY at 5:30pm.

Sunday 9th November 2025 — Sunday Social

Sunday social starts at the slightly later time of 2:00pm in the CEF Lounge (behind partitions as there is a private gathering in the main room).

Sky coverage includes (all at 2:00pm):

• Villa v Bournemouth
• Brentford v Newcastle
• Palace v Brighton
• Forest v Leeds

Man City v Liverpool at 4:30pm.

Friday 14th November 2025 — Shelly does Strictly

It’s finally here — “Shelly does Strictly.” Doors open at 6:00pm with dancing due to start around 7:00pm. Entry is free.

We will be live streaming the event from The Life Church Burnley on three TVs. Everyone’s invited to come along and join the fun — children welcome.

After months of fundraising Shelly and friends have raised over £16,000 (including Gift Aid) — a phenomenal effort.

We will take one final opportunity to raise funds for Pendleside Hospice with a raffle on the night, so please bring cash; card payments will also be accepted.

Sunday 16th November 2025 — Sunday Social & Football

Sunday Social returns from 1:00pm. Includes Albania v England live in the CEF Lounge at 5:00pm.
