Lowerhouse Cricket Club celebrating their 150th Anniversary this year takes part in only their 3rd Worlsey Cup Final ever on Sunday at Church CC commencing 12.30pm.

The Worsley Cup Final is the showcase of the Lancashire League and this game has all the hallmarks of a great spectacle with two of its finest and best supported clubs in action.

Club’s officials from Church & Lowerhouse have been liaising since the semi-final on Saturday to ensure the organisational logistics of such an occasion are resolved:

  • A large crowd is expected and delays are possible at the gate please bear this in mind, arrive early please try to bring correct change to ease congestion.
  • Parking is limited and therefore at a premium again arrive early to avoid being disappointed.
  • Once the Car Park is full supporters are urged to park carefully and in accordance with local traffic regulations

Match Day Tickets are available from Church CC – Lowerhouse fan’s will be able to purchase from Saturday: Tickets are available to Supporter’s on Saturday from David Wren @ the 1st X1 fixture away at Rawtenstall or the 2nd X1 game at Lowerhouse from 1.00pm Adults £4 Concessions £2.

Lowerhouse CC bar will be open Sunday morning 9.00am – 11.15am for ticket sales!

  • The Club will be providing extra bar facilities and refreshments/BBQ
  • Normal Tea Room service will be available but no pre-order service.
  • Ground Car-Parking will be limited
  • Lagers, Beers & Wine will be available at competitive prices to complement our usual Club Bar facilities

CHURCH C.C. GROUND REGULATIONS:

ONLY ALCOHOL PURCHASED ON THE GROUND MAY BE CONSUMED ON THE GROUND
