Match Day Further Announcement

We can’t wait to share a great day with you, and we will expand our match day notice as the week progresses.
Please bear with us as the logistics of organising this event are immense . We are after all expecting the biggest crowd in the Leagues modern history

Gates Open at 11.00am on Sunday.

There are two entry points available – the re-opened entry on Liverpool Road and the main gates access via David Wren Way.

Please have your tickets or correct change if where possible as this will help to reduce queue’s into the ground

Note whilst gates open at 11.00am, the additional can bar’s (3) fixed bars (2) plus additional 4 catering outlets in addition to the club’s bar & tea room will now open until 11.30am the early gate is simply to ease the crowd into the ground before the start time 12.30am

Car Parking:

Players, Officials & Sponsors are the only authorised vehicles on the ground at the Cup Final Sunday and all these vehicle must access the ground before 10.45am

There is no public parking at the ground for this fixture:

On Street parking will be limited and subject to an assessment by Lancashire Constabulary later this week however if you are parking in and around the ground we requests that you have consideration to our neighbours. Ideally ALL parking should be at Business First on Liverpool Road.

Bars: Will open at 11.30am
7 Bars in Operation

Lowerhouse main club bar will have the full range of products including Gin and Wine etc.
Lowerhouse members wanting to use their loyalty cards will have to attend the clubs bar to obtain that discounted price.

At this event it will be supported by 6 external facilities:
– 2 x JW Lees Pop Up bars these will sell draft JW Lees as follows:
– Original Lager, Strongbow Dark Fruits Cider & Lees Bitter at £3.00 each they will be situated as follows:

a) Aside the Groundsman’s Hut
b) Aside the Old Pavilion

In addition, cans bars will be situated :
c) On ‘Masson Mount’ aside the Liverpool Road, Entry.
d) At Stella Corner
e) Inside the Tea Room
f) Outside the Tea Room

Can bar options will be Fosters, John Smith’s & Strongbow at 1.50 with Dark Fruits at £2.00 per can

Catering

a) Tea Room
b) Aside Tea Room
c) Old Pavilion
d) Stella Corner
e) The Groundsman’s Hut

The Clubs tea room as well as incorporating a can bar as detailed above will offer: Pie and peas.. Haffners Pork, Meat, Meat & Onion & Meat & Potato as options with Cheese and Onion available in limited stocks.

A range of 7 options of fresh sandwiches, Chocolate, Sweets & Crisps, Cold Cans, Water & Lucozade & Kids Cups as well as some ice creams however the clubs designated ice – cream van will be on site all day.

Aside the tea room an additional bar will also provide a BBQ with burgers Cheese burgers and also a Madras Curry option with a wrap.

At the Old pavilion another BBQ will be available

At Stella Corner Smokey Republic will be providing a Hog Roast

At the Groundsman’s Hut another BBQ will be available

Just a reminder of a few things on Sunday
1. No external BBQ’s allowed
2. No external tents or Gazebo’s
3. Note there are no restrictions on external alcohol you can bring into the ground but please try to avoid ‘glass bottles’ . We strive like any other club to raise monies to continue to expand our cricket activities so every penny spent with us goes back into local cricket.
