House out of the Worsley Cup
Lowerhouse were beaten in the first round of the Worsley Cup by fellow league leaders East Lancs
East Lancs batted first and were 271 all out on the last ball of the innings. The wickets were shared, Ocki 4, Toxy 3, Ben 2 and Paddy 1. East Lancs professional got the bulk of the runs with an impressive 129 off 103 balls.
Lowerhouse legend Chris Bleazard bowled for the first time since 2003!
In reply House put up resistance but couldn’t keep up the pace and finished 245 for 9 off their 50 overs. Ocki scored 82 with Charlie and Blez in the 40s
