Pro Medal Night a Huge Success

Pro Medal Night a Huge Success at Lowerhouse

Last night saw the first ever Pro Medal Night at Lowerhouse, as we came together to celebrate the achievements of our Senior Teams from last season. It was also an opportunity to thank and show appreciation to the many volunteers at the club who work tirelessly in the background ensuring success both on and off the field.

The concept of the Pro’s Medal is that it’s not just about stats, but about individual moments that a scorecard doesn’t always capture.

Each game is reviewed and points are awarded for a player’s impact in a game. For example, a 50 scored or five wickets taken may receive the same or even less recognition than a stunning catch or a direct hit run out to remove the opposition professional.

The inaugural winner of the Pro’s Medal was Jonny Whitehead.

It was a fantastic evening enjoyed by all who attended, with a great atmosphere throughout the clubhouse.

A huge thank you goes to Dan and Jackie Salpietro for their hard work in organising the event and making the night possible.

The room looked absolutely outstanding, setting the perfect scene for the celebrations, and live singer Charlie Whittaker was excellent, providing top-class entertainment across the evening.

Fundraising on the night was donated to the Fundraising for Phil Charity, a project organised by the Gansler family in memory of Phil Gansler who passed suddenly and unexpectedly in 2016.

A brilliant night and hopefully the first of many more to come at Lowerhouse.

#UTH 💛💙
