T20 Victory Makes It Two From Two
Lowerhouse made it two wins from two and moved to the top of the group in the T20 competition with the first home game of the campaign.
For those watching on the stream, apologies from the tech geeks. Our internet threw a proper wobbler and you were lucky to even get a scorecard on Play-Cricket!
Enfield won the toss and elected to field first. Lowerhouse made a great start and posted 168/8 from their 20 overs.
Dan Salpietro led the charge with a blistering 68 from just 35 balls, including a rapid 24-ball fifty. Thomas Walker also contributed an important 35 from 27 deliveries as Lowerhouse kept the scoreboard moving throughout the innings.
In reply, you always have to be careful with Adam Bracewell in the line-up, and he showed exactly why with a fine 73 from 43 balls. However, Enfield could only manage 140/7 from their 20 overs.
Shaukat Ali claimed the big wicket as Bracewell was caught by Frankie, with Shaukat clearly enjoying a good pro scalp in the T20!
Thomas Walker returned figures of 2-20 from his four overs, while the remaining wickets were shared around the attack as Lowerhouse wrapped up another excellent win.
Lowerhouse: 168/8 (20 overs)
Dan Salpietro 68 (35), Thomas Walker 35 (27)
