The Directors, Players & Supporters of Lowerhouse Cricket Club are delighted to have the opportunity to host the 97th Worsley Cup Final versus Littleborough CC at the Brooks Foundation Ground on Sunday 13th August 2023 wickets pitched 12.30pm.
In 2004 we hosted our first Worsley Cup Final, arguably the best in modern times.
It certainly created a benchmark for the future of the Lancashire League showcase event with record gate receipts recorded.
This was no ordinary Cup Final
The atmosphere generated by the watching crowd excelled anything that has ever preceded it and will be the benchmark for future finals.
In 2018 we feel we went one step further in terms of organisation and blessed with superb weather, an incredible day for the thousands that descended on The Brooks Foundation ground as record gate receipts were recorded once again in front of a virtual full house.

In 2004 we felt we raised the bar for future Final’s.
In 2018 we were confident that weather permitting we were able to take the organisation and delivery to a different level which we felt we achieved.
As a club we have become more organised and more than capable of the delivery of larger events, it’s paramount to us that everyone comes and enjoys the day.
Hopefully, weather permitting we can again ensure this Final is the real showcase for the Lancashire League and the Leagues Sponsors J W Lees
It’s important to us that the people who come get value for money.
We want to ensure that the player’s and supporters of both clubs’ along with any neutral attendees win or lose know and feel that they have been part of a special day.
Some information is already available, and we will continually update as more arrangements are made once the club has met and finalised details with the League Executive & Sponsors.
Ticket Information:
As in our previous Home Finals we feel demand will be high and to ease congestion at the gate advance ticket sales will be available for 2023.
Tickets can be purchased as follows: Adults £5.00 & Concessions £2.50

Hospitality
Our famous tents are back they seem to have been adopted by a number of clubs over the subsequent years since 2004. And in addition the clubs picnic tables will be on offer as hospitality benches to offer an option for smaller groups:
